The Damned
The Damned are an English punk rock and later gothic rock band formed in London in 1976. They were the first punk band from England to release a single ('New Rose'), put out an album (Damned Damned Damned), and tour the United States. They are considered one of the founders of gothic rock.

The Clash
The Sex Pistols may have been the first British punk rock band, but the Clash were the definitive British punk rockers. Where the Pistols were nihilistic, the Clash were fiery and idealistic, charged with righteousness and a leftist political ideology. From the outset, the band was more musically adventurous, expanding its hard rock & roll with reggae dub and rockabilly among other roots musics.

The Exploited
The Exploited is a punk band from the second wave of UK punk, formed in 1979. They started out as an Oi! band, before mutating into a faster street punk and hardcore punk band. From about 1987 they changed into a crossover thrash band. Formed in Edinburgh by ex-soldier Wattie Buchan, they signed to Secret Records in March 1981 and released their debut EP Army Life. The album Punks Not Dead followed in the same year.

The Ramones
The Ramones were an American rock band often regarded as the first punk rock group. Formed in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, in 1974, all of the band members adopted stage names ending with "Ramone", though none of them were actually related.

The Adicts
The Adicts are an English punk rock band from Ipswich, Suffolk, England. Popular in the 1980s, they were often in the indie charts at that time. Their song "Viva La Revolution" was featured in the video game Tony Hawk's Underground

The Partisans
The Partisans were a punk rock band formed in Bridgend, in South Wales in early 1978, when all four members were in their early teens. They continued until 1984, having several hits on the UK Indie Chart. The band re-formed in the late 1990s.

The Teen Idles
The Teen Idles were an American hardcore punk band that formed in Washington, D.C. in August 1979.Teenagers Nathan Strejcek, Geordie Grindle, Ian MacKaye and Jeff Nelson were the band\'s continual members.
